check NORMLs website. Just do a Google search for "H.R. 5843 NORML". They have an automatic form letter that you can send to your members of congress.

To eliminate most Federal penalties for possession of marijuana for personal use, and for other purposes. up to 100 grams and non non sale transfer of 1 Oz. It was Sponsored. by Rep. Barney Frank [D-MA]. Ron Paul is one of 7-8 cosponsors. It is being looked at by two subcommittees now. But it might be reintroduced in the next congress because supposedly 10 more congressmen want to add their names as co sponsors. Sadly my congressmen here in Oklahoma are against it. (no surprise there)

FACT: Cannabis regenerates cell growth in the brain....to paraphrase
FACT: I don't use the medical excuse myself; I use the fact that no one has a right to regulate my personal habit, especially not the federal govt and that's why we have a Bill of Rights which should more accurately be called the Bill of Limitation os BIG government (1-9 is "shall not" and 10 is "if we forgot anything, rights go to state and people"---see 'Overview of America' for more)
FACT: Cannabis>Marijuana

H.R. 5843, an "Act to Remove
Federal Penalties for Personal Use of Marijuana by Responsible Adults,"
which seeks to eliminate federal penalties for the possession and
non-for-profit distribution of small amounts of cannabis.

Decriminalization does exactly that, it removes the criminal element. People seem to be doing drungs anyway regardless of laws, it comes down to a prison industrial complex which thrives on mild drug offences.

Yeah , all those crack neighbourhoods are just people exercising their right to do whatever they want with their own bodies. We should have more of them right?
