i have the dd7, has brilliant features and plug in two outputs to separate amps and you have a panning delay
reverse modelling, analog modelling
sounds great

well i've tried the boss dd-7 now and i don't like it ... too much delay time for me, i don't need any more than 600ms. the mxr sounds also much warmer and sweeter.

not entirely. i tried to put a wah in with a keyboard and it just cut the signal, im not sure what other pedals would do this but yeah. I agree most pedals will do the trick and a bass hooked up with a big muff gets a nice growl to it

I highly recommend this delay!! Just bought it today, and the sound is just spacious and gorgeous on the longer settings! It has the most sublime decay of any analog unit three times its price. It's an incredible addition to my pedalboard, and doesn't take up much real estate. Dream-like delay for real.

well its really all about preference, digital delay is more precise and has sort of a ping-pong if you will sound while analog delay is a little more space and flutters more, the dd-7 is of course digital and this being analog, the boss is more expensive but it has true bypass so like i said preference is key

...No. Analog vs digital simply refers to how the signal is processed, not how it is output. It's bad to have mismatched impedances, however. |
