Who cares if he was?
The important aspect is to look at what he provided for scientific research.
The man had an IQ of 165. Autistic or not, he was beyond the level of genius. Genius is 140.

Aheh yep all people with high IQ are autistic X_-

HAHAHA!!

Yes, he was austic, and no, he wasn't really such a great scientist. The "theory" of relativity is seriously incorrect and logically flawed, NOT his own, either, but influenced by a small group of misguided scientists at the time. For insights and corrections, see foossolvesunified - complete URL or Google it. NOTE: also, Newton's mental breakdown was the result of his tinkering with liquid mercury and exposure to the vapors...

I'm a psychology student and I don't think Einstein had autism. It is a cultural judgment to say because he was different he has a disease. It is popular pseudoscience. We must limit the definition of disease to a condition that disadvantages or is distressing to the individual. Einstein's social skills were not at all bad, and he did make some good moral judgments. If he had focused on developing social skills I'm sure they would have bloomed even more. He liked physics because its fantastic

It sounds like I need to talk someone and to get a hug. I can be quite *gentle* towards a woman... considering I'm a man

You really should talk to someone about that anger problem. :)
