"Bootleg"? Hahaha, yeah, they submit videos of them actually fighting. They don't have to a lot of times because they fought for another televised organization, e.g. Cage Rage or Pride FC. (I'm sure you've never heard of any of those, being the ignorant tool you are.) Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling don't have Chinese origins, you cunt. Vale tudo is a type of competition. It's not an MA. Meanwhile, your Shaolin arts have been made fucking outdated by more effective styles/techniques.

They're "nobodies" because they don't hop around in pajamas and dodge fights? Hahaha! Yes, ONE actor you named started his own style and opened his own gym. The rest didn't. However, plenty of UFC fighters have opened their own schools and created their own fighting cirriculum, e.g. Xtreme Couture, Team Hammer House, the Lion's Den, etc. Even the early UFC fighters were accomplished fighters in their own rights. Gerard Gerdeau was a world savate champion for example. Do your research.

when he invaded India, where it grew and was carried by the Monk Bodhidharma North until it reached China, by which point it had changed fairly dramatically. There are Martial arts that predate Kung Fu, that doesn't mean they're the best. Pankration is one of the oldest, and has arguably been the greatest influence on modern martial arts, especially when you consider it's similarities to MMA. Remember, many of this is theorised however, and actual dates cannot be ascertained as they "evolved".

Something's age isn't an accurate indication of it's effectiveness. If anything the newer something is the better it is, as it's created from more modern and therefore more evolved concepts. Take warfare for example, modern weaponry against say, a spear... There are plenty of other examples, but I'm sure you can figure those out yourself. And it is theorised that most Eastern Martial Arts are influenced by the Greek/Roman Martial arts of Pankration introduced by Alexander the Great...

Last comment was intended for Jball12002. I hope you one day realize that all arts are equally as impressive, while not always sharing the same effectivness when speaking about stimulous response, they all have their place. Shaolin Kung fu is a very impressive discipline, it is unfortunate jball, that you possess none of the discipline. So please, save your response, because i am sure it will be full of profanities, and I do not need to read such filth. Good luck in your Kung fu

wow, and you are under the practice of a Shaolin Kung fu master? Where is your respect for the arts? Shaolin is not yours, you have far too strong an opinion against all others to claim any type of art for yourself. You have no discipline, no respect, and you are ignorant. The age of a martial art has no bearing on it's effectivness. And to speak badly of the Gracie family, a Family whom I practice under, is disgusting. You are an uneducated fool to say the things that you do. shame on you
