I am Humanist, but I will not deny that a lot of my influence came from Christianity. But I also read Lao Tzu and Buddism. I embrace and respect many of those teachings. However, I do not believe there is a divine spirit watching over me. I also believe when your dead....that's it.....over. which makes me even more of a Humanist, why wait for death to find peace. I don't believe we ever will find it "en mass" - create your own little pocket of resistance and enjoy life and your friends.
