"the" faith? nonono.. bestämd form? varför?
"I want to have faith" is the correct and most suiting translation.

º¿º, give the translator some credit for his initiative u negative nancy. Id like to see u translate from swedish to english.... or any other language for that. americans arent really known for knowing more languages than their american subspecies of the english language. haha. :D

OK guys, faith and hope can be used interchangeably in English Hope and faith in true meaning are trust and expectation based on "known truths" denoting a certain outcome - original definitions. Modern slang has bastardised the true meanings.
zeppelyyn (August 22, 2008 at 11:45 am)
"Tro" means faith,
so "Jag vill känna tro" means "I wanna know the faith"
