Formless: I, for one, am a liberal that is so goddamn sick of hearing how awful our country is. If we vote in Obama, I'm hoping some people will think we're "enlightened" and just shut up. I don't know what Australia is like, but I have Canadian friends and from what I've heard -- their health care system is no great shakes. 5 month wait for a "free" knee operation! In the US, no wait. Yes, you have to pay - but it's worth 5 months of pain. Only one example of many.

If I am ever forced to cross your benighted borders it will be with good health insurance and body armor. In understand people are now getting their health insurance details tattooed onto their bodies, as well as their funeral plans.

Our health system sucks. There's really no debating that one at all. Most people in the U.S. would love to see health care reform. I don't remember debating that, other than you being soooo offended by some singer loser who stole somebody's hearing aid and then lumping an entire country behind it.
I'm sorry our entire country killed your friend, and made another one lose all of his or her money. You've proven your point. We are all awful people. Never visit us for your own safety.

Your vicious health "system" nearly killed my father when he was visiting for business. It has also killed a very good friend and bankrupted another. Pardon me. Your country has values, I bet is has a brisk market in principles and ethics as well. I am surprised you don't think ripping off someone's hearing aid is disgusting.
As a matter of interest, which are the war criminals you are referring to ? I like to know these things.

Civilized countries also aren't a safe haven for war criminals, like your country. C'mon, get off your high horse. Every country has issues. Just because you watch a video by a comedian showing 1 character out of billions who took someone's hearing aid, it certainly doesn't mean a country doesn't have values. Do you reeeeally think the guy in that video is representative of America? Give me a break. The video was still funny. You need to get a sense of humor.

In civilized countries people get state of the art hearing aids on national health. Did you see the piece of crap hearing aid the Repo guy was taking back ? It was huge ! Real hearing aids are tiny these days. I am surprised that even in the USA they make people pay for clunky 70's tech when most countries couldn't give it away. I take it that stealing crutches from cripples is just dandy too ? What a lovely Christian nation the USA is... NOT !
