Thanks you, you are correct! God id the one who gave her all that she has, if it wasn't God then why did everything happen as soon as she began to give her problem to God and surrenedering all things to Him?? God is the way, to success, and everything!

YonatanRet that is what I was thinking! She was praying to GOD, singing I Surrender while crying, and immediately she gets a call from Spielberg. Yet she gives the glory all to herself? Another thing I do not like is when people use the Universe in place of GOD. They say things like the Universe is infinite, it is limitless, it can provide all things. NONONONO GOD has all of those qualities. God not the universe, faith + actions (not attraction), GOD not man.

New Age has NOTHING to do with The Secret, the Secret is derived from the new thought movement, which was about being open to new ideas. New Age philosophy is about magic and crystals and mumbo jumbo. Please stop calling The Secret "New Age", it is NOT New Age!

Well, there are such things as secrets, and there is information about that is kept form the general population, or put a different way, is fed to the general population so that the secrets remain secret.
Oprah's life just demonstrates that she has the understanding or a knowing of it, and has the ability to apply it.
There are many who teach it in countless ways,
that resonate with different people on different levels, at different times.
When ready, the teacher will appear.

It's only a "secret" if YOU don't know it. To everyone else, it's called Faith. The movie just made it easier for the average person to understand and relate to it, but God is the one that created it... scientists are just trying to make sense of it.

There's a lot of comment saying how "The Secret" (and I HATE that name) is just a new word for faith, and how it's some big sales scam. I'd like to point out, Religion was the first big sales scam. Indulgences, any one? Going to hell for not believing some crazy fairy tales? Go to church every sunday, believe what we believe, or be punished? Collection plates?
