People! It's not about beeing Scotish with scotish accent, but beeing yourselfes. American actors could be just like Gerry if they stay what they really are not what people would like to see them. I think Gerry is so cute and nice and so on, because he spent most time of his life in Scotland not U.S and he didn't became such presuming jerk. When you meet him and talk to him he always say with smile "I am what i am" not "You-know-who-i-am".
