I am having to do a presentation on employee engagement in my Human Relations in Industry class and this video has given me some awesome ideas. The video is great and I will recommend that my fellow student watch it.

This is an excellent video. In explaining employee engagement, this clip helps make the concept less intellectual by translating it into something individuals can connect with. Will definitely be recommending this video to others!

Its great and thought provoking. I am a HR professional and shared this with my fellow colleagues. The reactions were pretty much the same i.e. very positive.

When will employers get it? While a few do get the connection between employees and customers, most will put money into everything but people. At the heart of engagement is the so-called soft skills that "business" leaders continue to say aren't important. Yet it's tapping into customer emotions that drives success in today's whole-brain economy.
I'm convinced that it will take broad retirement of the current Baby Boomer leaders before organizations really get it. |
