Hey you quasi-doob fans, this video was the FINAL performance of a fantastic band. It was broadcast live on network TV!! get the idea of their influence. Obviously everyone took a turn at center stage. Some of the early doobs were on stage side and back, but that's a treat for true fans who know who is who. More than 15 years later they regrouped.
You gotta love this American icon.

Sounds like an explosion in a guitar factory.

This is awesome. Looks like they were playing at U.C. Berkeley's Greek Theater. Am I right?

Hey barttheanorak...
That's it! They pronounce Knudsen with a loud "K".
It's kinda weird...

Yeah he strikes me as a really underrated guy, the Doobies are full of unsung heroes who died too young. Knudsen, Cornelius Bumpus, Bobby Lakind. I've compiled a whole playlist of their lead vocals on my iTunes.
On a lighter note, correct me if I'm wrong, did Keith pronounce the K in his surname? I was quite surprised to listen to a Doobies concert in Wolfgang's Vault and Patrick Simmons said "Keith K-noodsen's gonna sing for you now". |
