Would love to see this same project applied to students in all the countries that rank ahead of the USA in education. Do you think they waste time all day? Pay no attention in class? Nope. That would be a real eye opener for you. Students without laptops, $100 textbooks and all the other stuff you feel entitled to but don't use perform better than you.

Learning doesn't have to be just application. You think physicists came up with the Theory of Relativity and Theory of Special Relativity to make money? There is zero application what so ever, yet we humans strive to learn as much as we can to continue to evolve the human consciousness.

We study this in my Advanced Composition class.
All of the students( high schoolers, mind you) absolutely LOVE it.
We've watched this at least a dozen times.

OMG!
This is sooooo true, and I give you your props for this, I believe it. Some of these aree my problems but then again, I work 3 jobs, go to school and I only miss my first class because im always late but other than that im a good student, wow.
Our generation has so many bumps to go over annd technology may just BREAK us...

All you kids are in for a BIG SHOCK. Surfing the net, talking on your cell phone and reading facebook won't earn you dollar one in the work world, and are just a waste of time. Your generation will live in abject poverty, because you have no idea how to create value, or create anything, for that matter. Flame me all you want, but mark my words. It is not the world's responsiblity to conform to you and your needs. You have it completely and totally backwards. |
