When it comes to female vocalists, there's Billie Holiday, and then there's everybody else. She was at the end of her life in this video, and she still had that voice. GO pick up some CD's of her work in her prime. She is the BEST.

This is something most people don't see anymore. Real musicians who put their heart and soul into their playing. Billie Holiday was one of the greatest American singers of the last 100 years.
