Tyson is currently the youngest heavyweight champion in heavyweight history, and a fairly heavy puncher by heavyweight standards, but by no means one of boxing's all time greats.

The best ever historically are considered the "best" as much for their social impact outside the ring and their conduct as honorable men as for their accomplishments in the ring against quality opposition.
Mike lacked sufficient quality opposition during his career in the ring, and Mike's had problems outside the ring damaged his creditability. He never impacted on society to the extent that former ring greats did, nor showed the character of a great champion during his reign as champion.

lol I beg to differ, he beat what was put in front of him, and unified the heavyweight division. So no matter what you think, it is irrelevant because history will always remember the 20 year old who unified his division.

LOL !! Donovan 'Razor' Ruddock ,yes he did beat him twice but Lewis demolished him inside 2 rounds,Ruddock could not be classed as a great boxer.
Like i said Tyson NEVER beat a great boxer in his prime.

That's what im talking about Tyson was born to box. With all his people from Cus, guiding him, he was unstoppable. He's one in a million. Greatest fighter of all time, Mike tyson.

if u look @ any sport as time go's on ppl get better and better look @ running records 50 years ago 2 now swimming darts long jump hammer throw any record u want yes ali was good in his day if he was about 2day he would not b no better than the rest out there trying 2 compare boxers from 20 years ago 30 years ago 2 boxers now is stupid fights will never happen styles clash so u never no who would win and times have changed ali was the best in his time tyson was the best in his time lewis in his
