Thank you rynerich. I was simply referring to the fact that the OP stated that the Pie Jesu was taken from ALW. While this particular version might have been, the song itself has been sung in Catholic Churches for hundreds of years. Pax Tecum

Requiem is written by ALW in 1985,
and CC covered it in 1998.

As with Ave Maria there are numerous versions of Pie Jesu. This is the ALW one although as you say its origins are very old.

Pie Jesu isn't from Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Requiem." It has been sung by the Catholic Church for over 300 years.
