At 3:44, he slaps much faster than usual for a few seconds. he said in an interview he uses his thumb & pinky for that.
I once saw another bassist down at Sam Ash use it too, but I didn't get to ask him about it.

no no well youre right. I guess I worded my response badly. What I meant is that his strength is composing, but it's very impressive that he is a phenomenal composer as well as being practically a virtuoso on the bass.

are you familiar with all of his bass works? I'd be willing to bet there are a lot of bassists (pros) who would agree with my assessment of Tom Jenkinson's bass guitar work. |
