Used2fite a Massive guy who used his bodymass&strenght 2crash thru my WingChun.However,on way in,I hit him w/punches&knee kick.(no power cause sparrin)After I get up from his tackle,I tell him that he never would have ate those strike @ power.He just laugh.1day,I get mad&decide 2show him.He take 1step2me,I stomp his knee@mid power.He drops2ground,grab knee&cries 4 6minutes.I nearly broke it.Fight=1sec.Many ppl c me get tackled b4,but I was being Nice.Real fighting,is very different from Sport.

Tons of TMAs get high level of accurate&powerful strikes2lethal/painful areas.Leaving groin open will b a huge mistake in a streetfight,as they Will nail it,or somthing equally damaging that is opened.Underestimating ANY fighter/thug is stupidity.U gamble w/ur life? I'm sorry, but hand to hand combat wasn't mentioned when we were talking about lethal moves, and a knife incision to the throat is lethal, so I guess a made a valid statement. Evidently Kommy, you must have been afflicted with a deprived childhood. Might I suggest some psychiatric facilities?
All systems are limited. That's a given. You can't win a boxing match with BJJ tactics, can you? If you box yourself in one system, then yes it does matter.

Technically, a slap fight is real. The only difference is the level of violence. MMA fights are all out, but they still have regulations. Still, how many people in the world know how to efficiently exploit the body's weakness under combat?

This is very true. Kung fu, Karate, and other forms where developed and refined specifically for battlefield combat, to protect you in real life situations. When your enemy comes you don't say, "Wait, no groin kicks, no lethal attacks and 1 on 1 only. OK, you ready? Lets do this." MMA is really a new sport.

I agree, Bruce Lee could probably take out an MMA fighter with a groin shot technique and end it with a quick throat attack. Which would be lethal but realistic.

All this talk of MMA vs one style fighting (particularly Kung Fu). This would be a real test. Have a 5 vs 5 in an arena and see who wins. The 5 MMA fighters (often with grappling specialism) or 5 grandmasters (in Kung Fu or any school really). This would definitely change fighting styles that's for sure. And it's more in tune with real life situations when your attackers are often more than 1 or your friends help you out in a fight.

So if the fighter needs to get other techniques then obviously the system is limited and therefore the system DOES matter. I win. Thanks for admitting your argument was bullshit.

Close2dethmatch?not even by miles.A single strike can take away an Ops life.That changes the entire game.A single tech thats banned changes the game.Dont have2worry bout groin shots?Fighters will use groin-open stances that arnt safe in REAL COMBAT.Every tech that isnt allowed,allows fighters2 adapt2 ease of non-realism.Such that its no longer proper skilled & safe fighting,but instead,foolish dribble that would get U killed in Real Combat.
