You obviously know nothing about climate change. CO2 is a greenhouse gas, that affects temperature, that is a fact. Go look at real facts at IPCC or Millenium Ecosystem Assessment. Lastly, this guy is talking about carbon sinks, which is old news in the scientific community. When was this recorded?

Check GEOLOGIC history of CO2 of the planet & it's clear that there's ZERO problem with having more CO2 than now. Only ONE other time in earth's history were BOTH CO2 and temperature as LOW as they both are right now & that was 280 million years ago. We are CO2 IMPOVERISHED & COLD compared to earth's averages. There's NOTHING 'wrong' about either temperature or CO2 going up even if CO2 actually did have any significant affect on temperature, (despite zero evidence it ever did).

Dyson doesn't have a problem with the idea of 'global warming' in principle. He wants to see more data to support the trumpeted claims. That's where I stand. Frankly, I sort of hope Al Gore is right. We desperately need to move away from a hydrocarbonist economy. But I still think the verdict is out on global warming. In fact, the earth's temp has actually been steadily cooling over the last 10 years, in spite of massive global expansion of industry and SUV production during that period.

Freeman Dyson says you have to look at what is happening in the real world. Has Freeman Dyson looked at how fast biomass is disappearing due to deforestation?

His problems with computer models are entirely valid. A computer will just mindlessly assimilate whatever data is put in.
The "Hockey Stick" graph's "human factor" line clearly has some missing data: it doesn't exactly match the observed data. Makes me wonder what factors are not being taken into consideration. Biomass, as Dyson points out, seems to be one of them.

At 6:00 or so... "tree top areas show more CO2 is going in than coming out", HELLO. Try measure the tailpipes where those 3.5 BILLION gallons per DAY of crude oil are being burned.

For all of the accusations of skeptics that climatologists support AGW for grants, has anyone thought about Dyson's motivations? He may be a brilliant scientist, but that does not make him always right or have his own agenda.
Do your homework. understand not only what people are saying, but WHY they are saying it.
