I think the saying holds true in certain cases, depends on the situation. When it comes to gaming I think it's true, because people ASSUME it's childish, or pointless, because they have biased preconceptions. People tend to judge a book by it's cover way too much in this world...
Just my opinion though :)

As much as I love gaming, I don't agree with the philosophy that you can't understand or critize something until you've tried it. It gets used a lot in political arguments and is a bit of a fallacy IMO. A common one is that you can't critize religion unless you've been a church goer all your life. Awesome video nonetheless, really needed to be made for the naysayers out there. |
