You got that right! The only guys that were able to beat Tyson, all had that in common, they were not intimidated.

That right uppercut was the one that knocked Mike out, you can see his eyes just roll back in his head. After that, the outcome was inevitable.

Captain Bob Sheridan one of the best at calling a boxing match...he doesn't need three or four "analysts". He gives you all the action and analysis himself. A throw back to the days of Howard Cosell and Bob Dunphy. Jim Lampley for instance doesn't do it for me..always citing "compubox" stats and asking George Forman and Larry Merchant what they think...the hell with that...call the damn fight...I like to hear Lampley talk about the sport of boxing but not call fights

The biggest thing was Buster wasn't scared of Tyson. So many guys, especially Michael Spinks, went into the ring in fear of Tyson and intimidated and were already beaten before the fight even started.
Douglas was focused and motivated by his mother's death and executed his gameplan to perfection. When Tyson rocked him, he got up and came back at him...something Mike had never experienced before.
Definitely the biggest upset ever in sports history

One of the best things I've ever seen in my life. Even now, it's so damn incredible. |
