you know i dont often read comments, but i'm glad i read this one, because i'm glad someone else feels EXACTLY the way i do, i have been thinking the same thing for the past few weeks i've been getting into them, and he really knows his way around the guitar for singer/songwriters purposes. the first result for thanks bastards (live) is a perfect example of this. in absence of the instruments on the album he fills in the melodies with awesome chords and dissonances to fill in the gaps, love him.
