Kurt, teh director, didn't want to waste money releasing it in the US, because it already made a lot of money from Asian countries such as Malaysia. !!!!!Malaysia rules!!!!! anyway, yeah. Oh and I agree, the Matrix needs an oscar. The first one at least.

no it wasn't overrated and we're not all over that movie because of Batman. It's because of the Joker! EVERYONE GIVE A ROUND OF APPLAUSE for Heith Ledger! Thank you thank you! ok whatever. But yeah, Christian Bale doesn't make a good batman, but he does make a good Bruce Wayne ;)

Blasphemy ! ;-) - Everyone, who's critizising TDK, is also saying "... it was a good movie BUT ... too long ... not realistic ..." - it was a good movie, in every meaning of the word "good", that's it, needs nothing more. Heath Ledger still amazes me, when I think of his performance and Christian Bale is advancing to become the coolest bad-ass-guy-actor of all times.

Best movie Bale played in. Dark Knight is a good movie to people who arent accustomed to the true darkness that is Batman. Not saying Bale wasnt a good Batman. Just saying the movie's wayyyy overrated.

Didnt realize this is where Devil May Cry got that crazy gun slinging action from.

The Matrix was a trilogy, not one got an oscar recognition. Yet this movie gets far more cult status, i reckon it deserves at least a re-release at the cinema...
