Lord Shiva is the most ancient deity worshiped, among those still worshiped and among those no longer worshiped. The many Divine Forms of Lord Shiva have been seen in ancient idols. This proves the antiquity of Shaivism.

I just want to add that I do have love and respect for Jesus, but I don't have any respect for narrow minded christians who are more concerned with telling other people how to live their lives than with improving themselves.

mallupennu, what do u mean idol worship.You probably dont have a clue about hinduism or indian spirituality.However, Jesus did give his life for washing away the karma of others, but he wasn't by far the only one.
